    The AmericanElectric RAVEN electric bike is a sleek, 350W step-through e-bike with great features and high quality components.  The RAVEN was formerly the GenZe E222 electric bike, but AmericanElectric took over the production of this bike from GenZe, made some improvements, and rebranded it as the RAVEN.

    There have been some amazing improvements to this model since AmericanElectric updated it and named it the RAVEN, including the following:
    • It comes now with a 1-Year Warranty (formerly 6-months).
    • Full onboard color display and odometer (re-sets after each trip)
    • Torque cadence sensor
    • Shimano Altus derailleur
    • Front dynamo powers LED front light - The motion from the front wheel powers the dynamo which generates electricity for the front light.

    The RAVEN is a Pedal Assist only e-bike, meaning that it does NOT have a throttle.  Further, there is no need to worry about changing the level of Pedal Assist, since the RAVEN has a Torque Cadence Sensor, which means that the level of electric power assistance provided by the bike depends on how the rider pedals... the harder they pedal, the more assistance they get and visa-versa.

    The RAVEN e-bike is also a reliable product for consumers, as they are durable, theft-proof, easy to operate, and require very low maintenance.

    Theft-proof features:  While no bike can be completely secured from theft, the RAVEN includes some built-in features meant to prevent theft.  ​The RAVEN comes with special screws that prevent an easy release of the seat, front wheel, and basket, which is mainly to prevent theft and is an added security feature.  The battery is also locked, and the key is required to remove it.
    Minimal assembly is required.

      ORDER CONFIRMATION

      • As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we are preparing your order for shipment and have pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  
      • As soon as we receive your order, we reach out to the manufacturer to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.
      • If your order is in stock, we will process the charges to your credit card and submit the order for immediate shipment.
      • If your item(s) is on back-order or unavailable, we will contact you to see if you wish to keep or cancel your order.  (Payment must be made up front for all back-orders / pre-orders.)

       

      ORDER SHIPMENT

      • The electric bike (or other items) you ordered will ship within 1-3 business days from the date of your order.
      • Your item(s) will arrive to your address within 3-7 business days from the date of shipment.
      • We will send tracking number information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you don't receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order confirmation, feel free to follow up with us at support@ElectricBikeZone.com.
      • We ship via UPS and FedEx for most electric bikes and via USPS for small parts and accessories.
      • We order Signature Required delivery on every order over $100. You will need to have someone age 21 or older present at the time of delivery to accept the shipment.

        CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:

        If you need to cancel an order for any reason, please contact us at support@ElectricBikeZone.com as soon a possible.

        • Order Cancellations:  All order cancellations, including back-orders and pre-orders, will incur up to a 15% cancellation fee, based on the total amount of the order.  Note that if the order has already shipped, there will be additional fees if the items need returned.  (See our Damages & Returns page for details on Returns.)
        • Refusing A Shipment When It Arrives:  All orders that are shipped and refused upon delivery will have a 30% restocking fee and an original shipping fee deducted from the refund.
        Refunds will be issued to the original credit card or account that you used when placing your order.

          BACKORDERS:

          • From time to time, a product may run out of stock and the website wasn't updated when you placed your order. In that case, we will notify you immediately and give you three options:
            1. Get an immediate refund.
            2. Keep your order and wait for it to come back into stock.
            3. Pick a similar model that is in stock.
          • Once backorders arrive, we will notify you by email with your estimated ship date and you will receive an email with tracking information within 1-3 business days.
          • The expected arrival time may change due to unforeseen circumstances like a shipment getting held up at the port upon arrival or the factory missing a certain part needed to complete the manufacturing process.  We will contact you if the arrival time changes on your order, and you can let us know whether you would like to keep the order, substitute for a different electric bike, or cancel the order altogether.

          RETURN POLICY

          Our return policy matches the return policy of the manufacturer of each of our products.

          Each manufacturer has a different timeline for returns. Some have a 30-day return policy, and others are as short as 7 days. Some don't accept returns at all because they custom build each product that is shipped. 

          Please refer to our Manufacturer Returns & Warranty Policies page for details on each manufacturer's policies.

          If you are unsatisfied with your order, email us at support@ElectricBikeZone.com to notify us that you want to return your product.  We will respond to your email and will provide an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and the address to ship the product back to. You can take the product to your local UPS or FedEx store to ship it out.  A tracking number must be provided to Electric Bike Zone when returning a product.

          The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, including insurance (if selected), as well as a restocking fee.  Up to a 30% restocking fee will be deducted from your return at the manufacturer's discretion, based on the item purchased.

          As soon as the return is processed and approved by our supplier, a refund will be issued to the credit card or account originally used for payment.

          *IMPORTANT: Some of our manufacturers don't accept returns per their own policies.  If the manufacturer does not accept returns for their products, then we cannot accept returns for those products, either.   Refer to our Manufacturer Returns & Warranty Policies page for details on each manufacturer's policies.

           

          BRAND NEW CONDITION POLICY

          All products returned must be in new, re-sellable condition, with no visible defects.  All items must be shipped back in their original packaging.

           

          SHIPPING DAMAGE & DEFECTIVE PRODUCT POLICY

          Our electric bikes are carefully packaged to prevent damage during the shipping process.  However, occasionally there can be an issue, and shipping damage can occur with all shipping carriers.

          • Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive.  
          • Please Note:  If the item is damaged, you can sign for it as Damaged and we can then file a claim with FedEx/UPS right away on your behalf and have the item replaced. If there is damage but you sign for it as Not Damaged, then you will need to send information and photos showing the damage so that we can work to file a claim with FedEx/UPS.  You can send photos to support@ElectricBikeZone.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.
          • Electric Bike Zone does not pay or reimburse any labor costs undertaken by the customer under any circumstances.

          If you believe that an item has arrived damaged or with a defect, contact us at support@ElectricBikeZone.com and send a picture and description of the damage and we will happily file a warranty claim with the manufacturer on your behalf. This must be done within 10 days of receiving your electric bike. We will not be able to ship you replacements if you send us photos after 10 days of receiving your electric bike. Replacement parts orders typically take between 1 to 3 weeks to fulfill.

          • We do not issue refunds/returns because of defective batteries. The bike warranty will cover the battery, and a new battery can be shipped to you once we are provided with proof that the battery is defective.  See the Defective Battery Policy below.
          • We do not issue refunds/returns for minor cosmetic blemishes.  The cost of returning an electric bike and shipping out a new one would be rather expensive.  Instead, replacement parts and/or paint can be shipped to you to address any concern or problem.

           

          DEFECTIVE BATTERY POLICY

          Sometimes shipping carriers can damage the box during shipping. This can lead to the battery becoming damaged and not working. If you believe your battery to be faulty, you will need to provide us with proof.

          To do this you can take your battery to a Batteries Plus store or use a voltmeter at home to test the battery and send us a picture of the reading on the voltmeter. Once you send us a photo of the reading showing the voltage is low, we can have a shipping label sent to you to return the battery. Once the defective battery is received, we will have a new battery shipped out to you as soon as possible.

                • Are there assembly instructions for this bike?

                • How does the shift operate on the raven ?

                  It is an 8-speed thumb shifter on the right hand side of the bike.
                  There is one lever to push to go up a gear and another to press to go down a gear.
